Breathmobile®
Helping Kids Breathe

Breathmoblie The Breathmobile, an "asthma clinic on wheels", provides asthma diagnosis, education, treatment and research for children with asthma. This project was developed by the California Chapter of the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) to address the rising morbidity and mortality rates of asthma in high risk disadvantaged children. The Breathmobile® reaches out to this low-income and uninsured population who often receive care only in emergency rooms.
Helene and Marvin Wernick, AAFA Board Members and Founders, presented a check to David Altman (center) for new Breathmobiles® to begin service in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Two additional Breathmobiles® will begin service in Los Angeles and Orange counties.
